Retail entrepreneur and former Dragon Theo Paphitis gives talk on Level 50

Earlier this month, we were delighted to welcome Theo Paphitis, esteemed retail entrepreneur and former Dragon on BBC’s Dragon’s Den, to Level 50 of One Canada Square to deliver an insightful talk to postgraduate students. Organised by UCL School of Management Teaching Assistant Brian Andrews, the day allowed students to hear from and ask exclusive questions to an entrepreneurship giant.

Theo discussed his extensive career history, from his beginnings in retail to his current ownership of stationary chain Ryman and apparel and fashion brand Boux Avenue. Theo also shared his insights on the future of retail and the high street, as well as his tips and tricks for young entrepreneurs who are looking to launch their own business and raise investment.

We’d like to share our warmest thanks to Theo for sharing his expertise, as well as to all of the fantastic UCL School of Management staff who made the day possible.
