Earlier this month, UCL Innovation and Enterprise hosted the Creating Impact Through Knowledge Exchange Awards at Senate House and we are delighted to share that eNOugh, an innovative tech start-up born out of UCL School of Management, has received the Most Impactful Start-up Award.
The awards recognise and celebrate knowledge exchange activity occuring across all corners of UCL. Founded in 2022 by MSc Entrepreneurship alumna Ina Jovicic and MSc Electrical Engineering alumnus Gaelic Jara Reinhold, eNOugh is a business dedicated to enhancing personal safety with its innovative AI-powered wearable protection badge. The idea for the company emerged after Ina was mugged by a gang of four men while walking home alone, fuelling her determination to enhance the safety of women and girls.
Discussing their incredible achievement, Ina said, ‘We are very happy to be given this award as it really highlights all the hard work that has been happening behind the scenes ever since we joined [UCL’s] Hatchery incubator programme. We truly appreciate all the support that UCL has given us so far and this is just another testament of it.”
