Wordwide leading author and commentator in merger and IPO-related finance field with four related prior books: Beyond the Deal (91), Net Value (00), The Value Mandate (00). Upon its publication, Masterminding the Deal (13), co-authored with Professor Dr Roger W Mills, quickly became one of the most widely-cited and referenced new general management books in the corporate finance field, meriting multiple coverage and praise in numerous publications, including The Economist, Financial Times, Barron’s, Wall Street Journal, Reuters Breakingviews and Institutional Investor.
Dr Clark is considered as one of the developers of modern acquirer performance, based upon ‘bottom up’ and systematic, measurement of Acquisition Purchase Premium (APP) versus Net Realizable Synergies (NRS). His “Literature Review of Company Valuation Methods” part of his Time is Value doctoral dissertation (Henley) is today considered as one of the most complete comparative analyses of company valuation’s three leading alternative methods.
