The School is accredited by both the AACSB and AMBA, and is a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools. Our academic staff, comprised of 95 academic and education faculty, is organised around five research groups: Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Organisations & Innovation, Operations & Technology, Marketing & Analytics, and Finance, Accounting & Economics. We offer innovative undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, MBA and executive programmes in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Information Management Systems, and Finance, designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the next generation of innovation-intensive organisations.

The School is home to over 2,000 students, with more than 55% from outside the UK. The School’s faculty members also come from all over the world, with PhDs from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Columbia, UCLA, Northwestern, Cornell, Duke, Cambridge, and London Business School, among others.

About the role

Teaching Assistants (TAs) will supplement academic lectures through the delivery of group teaching (for example, in seminars and workshops) and associated duties for students taking modules in the School of Management. Associated duties may include marking of coursework and exams.

The post holder will report to the leader of the module/s they are supporting, and the appointment will be available from 5th January 2026 to 30th June 2026.

Salary is £21.98 an hour, plus an additional market supplement of £12.54, bringing the hourly rate to £34.52 (please note, marking is paid at different rates depending on the type of marking and length of scripts).
